The unthinkable happened PSP TOOLCHAIN ERROR! ---48thhr try.

Post by KickinAezz »

Hello,

I have installed PSPToolchain quite some long time back [3-4 months].
I have been hearing a lot about patches and all... Different toolchains I came across:

dev.oopo.net -- Has one
svn.ps2dev.org -- also has one
http://ps2dev.org/psp/Tools/ --- Has another toolchain..

Which one's the latest? [some of em contain gcc 4.1.0 ,somecontain 4.0.0, newlib 1.13.0 and some 1.16.0]

I wouldn't like to end up having no ability to compile homebrew after I install a new toolchain...

Plus moreover I work with GU, hence I need peek performance...
thanx

The latest is always in the subversion repository.

The other releases are dated, like psptoolchain-20070517.tar.bz2, to tell you how recent they are.

So one by you is the same on SVN?

Someone please help... I donot need C++, I justed need C which I code in, I would like to skip all steps until C++[here]... and continue on from there.
Would someone modify the script please? Ooopo please... Help.

[Note: I am working on a TIME-CRITICAL-APP, donot ask me what's so important.]

I'm afraid I might crash my development laptop's HDD .

Please , Other wise If anyone has the psptoolchain5-18-07, Could they please upload the pspdev directory... I would be very thankful... And u would be helping a productive person! :)

What system are you running toolchain at? Try installing g++ package.

I had previously successfully installed on first try.

I unneccessarily tried to upgrade, now I am suffering.

There is no separate g++ package, you have to install whole "development" tree in cygwin install.

No, I meant the pspdev or pspsdk [name I donot remember directory] in usr\local... I just need that alone... My cygwin is perfect...

But do you want just a toolchain(if yes then you can download it from svn),or whole, compiled /usr/local/pspdev?If you mean the second one,it's quite impossible, because it takes ~1gb.

I Wonder if it succesfully ran on a single machine....

Hello,

I was wondering if I could simply Skip running 005-ssomething.sh. And continue on...

I just need to compile C programs and not C++. Is it OK?
