Hi TyRaNiD,

First of all must thanks for your great good! RemoteJoy has a great support on many of my favorite games -- Ridge Racer, AceComabt, Tekken, MonsterHunterPortable 2nd.... In home, I can play with 19" wide screen mon while in office I can still use it with laptop~ Just like PS2-Anywhere~!! ^_^

Just a little request to you to see if this is possible or not. In my area many people will go out for "Monster Hunter Gathering" (as the game support 4-player mode). I tried to take out my laptop to illustrate to my friends. However when I choosed "link play" within the game, the game start to no response to any of my input. Then I tried an alternative to load -- enable the plugin and load game but without the USB cable connected -> after choosed link play in game and loaded into the arena, then I plugin the cable. This time works! The game will continue to works across scenes! So I thought it works around. However at the end of each game, it allow us to save the items we grabbed from the monster. At that moment, it hangs.....

So I tried few games I got for Wifi with friends. Seems by now RemoteJoy is not fully compatible to Wifi or save at the same time. Those are using the same memory addressing? Do you think it is possible to solve? Do you have plan for any even great release of RemoteJoy? :-)

Thanks a lot!!

Hi Weltall,

Thanks for our reply! May I ask what is the function of F5 an when should I use it? (As I am not sure about the procedures)

This game (Monster Hunter) will go into wifi mode when character walk into a room. So the game will shift into wifi mode in the middle. (Not select online play in game menu.) I enabled the two prx plugins by default. The two cases I tried are:
1) If I connect USB cable before loading the game, I can get display on monitor until I go into that room then halt;
2) In order to get pass the halt point, I can load the game with the game without the USB cable connected. Then you can get into that room and play with others by wifi without halt. After in online mode, you can connect the USB cable to get your screen displays on monitor. It will works until you finished that mission and you are asked to save. If you choose save, it will halt. (Haven't tried "Do not save"....)

So do you mean when I reach the save point, before I confirm to save, I should press F5 on computer to refresh something? Then I can get pass and able to save? (This online game is all about collected rare materials from monster dead body so without save it is meaningless at all :'( Please help me la~~ )

Thanks a lot!

What he means is you should press F5 before it asks you to select wireless, or before it shows up the screen saying "Connecting to access point".

Basically, before wireless connection gets established, then after it gets fully established and you are in the game.

Thanks Cloudy!

Then how about when I leave online arena and being asked to save? That point will trigger the PSPUtility menu again, right? Then should I press F5 again before I confirm to save? Will it help me to "restart" something and let me save? This game is all about collecting materials from monsters so meaningless to play without save....

Thank you guys!

F5 disables remotejoy till you press it again. this will help preventing these crashes. you have to press it before and after the crash point
