It may be a little too soon to ask this.... but I know that no programmers have COMPLETELY nailed down a ps2 emu yet... but does anyone know if a ps3 emu is being worked on yet???

For development work IBMs Cell simulator works great. I think it's on IBMs alphaworks site.

Moreover, there is not official way to access the GPU in Linux, so the IBM Cell simulator can be seen as a real PS3/Linux emulator ;)

I'm pretty sure that there are some PS3 emulators on the drawing boards if only so that they can get the "first emulator for its console" title.
