PSP PDF Preview 2 released
I've juste release the preview 2 of my pdf reader
binary : http://www.enterinmydream.info/~sauronlenoir/psppdf.zip
source: http://www.enterinmydream.info/~sauronl ... df_src.zip
What's new:
icon on xmb
blink message on the splash screen
flechooser RC1 written from scatch
rendering dropped support of multi thread , preload images because 3 images
ARGB at full resolution are to much for the PHAT.
Optimize the zoom
Fix a couple of bugs with the zoom

pspdf is using the last sumatra pdf library so suport the last features of adobe pdf format (aka acrobat 9).
look at the speed when the image is rendered (currently the proces to create the bimap is greater than bookr i'm working on it) but when the bitmap is created
there is no comparaison when you use the analog stick to navigate into the pdf
Left Trigger : zoom out
Right Trigger : zoom in
Analog dig navigation into the pdf page
left arrow : back page
right arrow : next page

adjustment problem
I normally use bookr but I have 1 big problem with it ... I suffer when i try to fill the wide of a line to the wide of the psp screen because the analog control is too sensitive. Is this matter resolved in your program?
P.D. Sorry but at this moment I haven't my psp with me so I can't prove myself.

I have the same issue, so I checked out BOOKR's source code from SF.net and added 2 new options for scroll left/right and scroll up/down speed of dpad buttons. Now I can scroll left or right for any number of pixels I want each time I press left or right button of DPAD(not analog stick, however)
And also I added another thumbnail feature, which lets you know the position of your screen in current page.
If you would like to try out my version of this Bookr, you can send me a mail and I will reply to you with it attached.
My email is [email protected].

just a question when the pdf is in the folder where psppdf reside is it going down ?
just to see if it is in the filechooser functon or in the sumatrapdf.
Currently there is a bug when the xref of the pdf is > than 2^32 it crash and
return to the xmb i try to fix this for preview 3.
As said before it is a preview so there are many bugs present yet

what is the progress of this project its nice to see some competition with bookr , maybe its time for improvements with pdf god knows theres more to be done, tip: Learn about PDF as much as you can (probability density functions ;) that and floyd-steinberg dithering should help for single pass processing of uncompressed jpeg results especially if large copious amounts of images but handle memset and malloc yourself as you want init properly use flp pools and mutexes and use device commands peace

Thanks
I've long had issues with Bookr, and finally stopped reading ebooks on my PSP altogether after the last round of them and hope that you continue to improve this.
Still, thanks for what you have done. I hope to get around to playing around with this soon.

Embedding JPG images in PDF - what is the best way to enable optimum printing? I am creating dynamic PDF documents that need to contain images containing text. Currently, we are aiming to use the JPG format, however, is there a better way to do this? The generated PDF will need to be printed.
