zlid for CF 5.00

Ciao a tutti/Hi folk!.

I'm feeling myself stupid to ask you simple questions..but I want to learn howto making PSP homebrew (and when I'll number one - because I'll know all - I'll help you)...
I downloaded via svn library zlib and now I want to make it (compile it) for CF 5.00.
When I type make (inside the zlib directory) I see :

psp-gcc -I. -I/usr/local/pspdev/psp/sdk/include -O2 -G0 -D_PSP_FW_VERSION=150   -c -o adler32.o adler32.c

Is it right (I mean is it not imprtant that library is CF 5.00 compliant - because it's just a library - or do I need to specify inside Makefile 'PSP_FW_VERSION=500' and other thinks/parameters)?

PPS. I uncover my secret : I'd like to 'remake' the psppdf in order to make it works on CF 5.00 without 1.50 addons (and in the meanwhile learn PSP/c language).
