PS2 low-level programmer
Elsewhere Entertainment is an independent developer of top quality titles for consoles such as the Playstation 2, Microsoft Xbox, Nintendo Gamecube and PC.
The team was founded by former employees of Appeal including all the leads from the graphics, technology and design departments. During their time at Appeal, that team was responsible for developing the hit title “Outcast”, which was published by Atari in 1999.
As a new company it is our goal to create world-class titles that bring a new dimension to the industry by using the latest and highest technology and capabilities and the most creative people the industry has to offer.
Due to our commercial success, we are about to start several projects and we are looking for extremely experienced and talented peoples.
The company’s working language is English and French.
Elsewhere requires that the person have:
- 2 years game industry experience (PS2 published games is an advantage)
- Proven experience of low-level PS2 development: Emotion Engine, Vector Units, DMA…
- Excellent knowledge of 3d engine development
- Excellent knowledge of C/C++
- Good communication and problem solving skills
- Enthusiasm and passion for videogames and their development
