Hello everyone...
I am new to this forum and will not try to even begin to comprehend things at the level you all do.
I was wondering if anyone would be up to a little coding challenge.
My goal is to create a website where people can upload their GTA:LCS stats to and have it displayed in a nice way where they can share it with other people. http://www.thegtaplace.com/sastats/index.php?user=pucas
I would like to build a site like this for GTA:LCS...
One of the issues is that there is no way to get the stats out of the game.
With the new developments regarding GTA save data and the exploit to allow you to use it to run homebrew, has anyone fiddled around enough to have any idea on how to extract those stats?
Ideally, I would like some kind person here to develop some kind of extraction utility that will read the save game file and write and output file that contains all of the in game stats.
This could be done on the PSP, or ideally the PC. The PC would hold the software, point it at a save game file, and extract the stats to another file in some type of data format.
I would like to develop a site where that stat file can be uploaded and displayed in a nice fancy way.
Would anyone be interested in working on this, or getting me started. I'm pretty techie and have some good programming experience, but I'm all at the application level and not at the hardware level of coding that is required to do this.
So any help is greatly appreciated. I have not had much luck at really finding people who had enough knowledge to even begin to think about this. Hopefully this community can shed a bit more light on things for me.
