free linux?

is there a home brew linux being made, or has been made?

just wondering, i did a search and found no info

Linux is homebrew by nature. What you're wondering is if there is a freely available replacement for Sony's RTE(Run Time Environment) that is used in Playstation 2 linux. Mrbrown started something called TGE(The Great Experiement) which was reported in news on ps2dev.org with various links to move information.

TGE isn't complete yet, so you should get involved and me it complete.

ya that is what i meant, well i dont know much about programming at all, but if theres anyway i can help i will
