BDF fonts?

BDF fonts?

Since freetype 2 supports BDF, does that mean luaplayer supports it?
I tried to load up a BDF font but it just resulted in squares with lines in them. Bug perhaps or just no support?
Note that we provide a beta caching sub-system with FreeType 2 since version 2.0.1. Even though you're free to write your own to suit your needs.
Is this being utilised?
